Haircuts!

Last Saturday was a very good day for our local Hair Salon that just recently opened right by our house. They got a lot of business from the Mendez!!!!

First Natalie cut off all her hair. We were tired of the endless knots that her hair would always get into. I mean my arm literally hurt everytime I had to brush it after her showers. But now it's all gone and she loved it! I have to agree that she just lookes soooooooooo PRETTY! She's had to deal with kids calling her Dora but she just ignores them!

Then it was Jaimito's turn. He needed a haircutt so bad. It was starting to look like a bush was growing on his head! And OH MY GOSH, he ended up looking so handsome! He looks like such a big boy with his haircut.And to top it off David and I got haircuts too! He hadn't gotten a real haircut in a loooooooong time. Ofcourse he looked so HOT! And I got a real makeover. I cut most of my hair off too and for the first time I got my hair dyed and with some highlights. It's taking me some time to get use to it but you have to agree we're a very handsome couple! LOL! Ha ha ha ha!

Jaimito's hobbies!

Jaimito's new favorite things are stacking up my condiments and whatever else he can find! And he's pretty good at it!

And he's also loving boxes. He tries to get into every box he sees! No matter how small they are he finds a way to get in!

3D Action!

So like I had mentioned in one of my earliest blogs, Natalie is not your typical little girl who likes only fairytale movies and is scared of scary movies! Nope, that's why when she saw the trailer for the new Resident Evil movie in 3D she was super excited! She was counting the days until it came out! She had already seen the previous three movies at home so she was ready to watch the fourth installment! So we got a babysitter for Jaime after her soccer game and then we were off to the movies.
Since she choose to see it in 3D we got these "cool" glasses wich David insisted that we put them on while we waited for our movie snacks!

I'm not sure if I really like this whole 3D thing. I mean first of all the tickets are already expensive enough on their own, but now I have to pay $3 more to see it in 3D?!!!

Not to mention that it had Natalie jumping on every scene where something jumped out of the screen! It was hilarious! Well I have to admit I was jumping a little too!

I guess the only good thing about them is that they make David look extra HOT!

Soccer

This past Saturday was Natalie's first soccer game! It was a little bit cool and cloudy and drizzling but they still played.

Boy it was a good game! We won 3-1!!!!!!!!!

And Natalie scored 1 of the goals at the start of the second half. Oh how I wished I would've gotten it on tape. It was so good, as soon as the whistle blew she just took off with the ball straight to the net.

Just look at her rosy cheeks! She's so awesome! I was so proud of her, she has really come a long way from when she first started. This is her third season already and she has really improved!The girls voted on their team name, Purple Panthers. Ha ha, we didn't quite like it, I mean who's ever heard of a purple panther? But oh well, they still rocked their first game!!!!!!
I can't wait to see my little girl in action in the rest of her games!
