Let the Lego Quest Begin

Lately Jaimito and David are obsessed with LEGOS. So I found this great idea, again on Pinterest. Yes I'm obsessed with Pinterest. Here's a link for more details:

Anyways, in a nutshell, it gives 50 different Lego challanges to try. So in our last FHE we decided to try this out together. Here was the first challenge.

To come up with your own vehicle.


Here's Jaimito's car. I was pretty impressed with it.

Then here's my lame car. Hahaha that's the best I could come up with.

And Natalie's. I liked hers too, especially the headlights.

We didn't include Daddy's cause his looked more like an airplane than a car. Afterwards he made an awesome one (as was expected) but we didn't take a pic. Sorry.

So if you want to join us on our quest than bust out the Legos. Next week hopefully we can move on to quest #2.

Birthday Questions.

I know I'm late on this but I still wanted to do it. As you know the 14th of January Jaimito and I have our birthday.

 

I found an idea on pinterest about each birthday asking my kids a series of questions. So here are Jaimito's answers.

Turned 4 years old.

 

1. Favorite color - green

2. Favorite toy - Spiderman toys

3. Favorite fruit - bananas

4. Favorite t.v. show - Batman cartoons

5. Favorite lunch food - chicken nuggets

6. Favorite thing to wear - super hero costumes

7. Favorite game to play - play with lego chimas

8. Favorite snack - Sponge Bob yogurts

9. Favorite animal - fox (I think he just said that cause they talked about them at school)

10. Favorite song - Gangnam style (hahahaha)

11. Favorite book - Froggy Goes to School and all the Froggy books

12. Best Friend - Jayden

13. Favorite cereal - Reeses Peanut Butter Cereal

14. Favorite thing to do outside - play games with friends

15. Favorite Drink - chocolate milk (yeah right, never drinks it. I would say more like soda)

2 Firsts

This past Sunday we had two firsts.

 

It was Sophia Abigail's first Sunday going to church.

 

And she wore her first dress, headband and even tights! They were quite loose on her but nevertheless they were tights. She was super good at church and ate, pooped and slept. No crying, she was really reverant!

Also Jaimito wore his first white shirt to church. Since before he was in nursery I never tried putting a white shirt on him but now since he is in Sunbeams and goes to Sharing Time I thought it was time for him to wear one. I thought he would fight me about it but with a little bribery he wore it without a fight! We still haven't worked up to a tie yet but everything one step at a time.

Too Much Cuteness

Mexican bath/shower.

It was time for Sophia's first bath/shower in the sink! Hahahaha you're not a Mexican baby until you have one of these!
