Sophia Turned 2

Here comes the terrible twos! It's okay, she's worth it.

She loves using Mami and Daddy's phones and is really good at working them. She loves watching YouTube videos, especially of Peppa Pig and Mickey Mouse. She loves her Minnie Mouse she got for Christmas and calls it her Baby. She loves running and talks a lot for her age. She can say, " I don't wanna." "Mas pacha." "What you doing mami?" "How are you mami." "Let me see." She can count to 13 and sings Finger Family, Twinkle Twinkle, ABCs and The Itsy Bitsy Spider. She loves her Buela Mari and when she sees abuelito she still calls him Buela Mari which is hilarious.

We're so happy to have her in our lives.

The Tooth Fairy Came Again

I'm a late, but I still couldn't pass up another wonderful first for my little man. On December 2, 2013 he lost not only one but two teeth.

He was horseplaying with his sister when he bumped himself accidentally and ta da. Both teeth popped off. He had a double window. The toothfairy was nice and left him $5.

And it Begins

So we don't really get haircuts regularly at my house, especially the girls. The boys get cuts when their hair is looking extra crazy. When they do get haircuts it's usually a fade. You know, really short and with a nice line up. So my husband and son always get identical haircuts.

Well it was time for a haircut and to our surprise Jaime came up to us and said, " Ma I don't wanna get the same haircut as Daddy anymore. I want a different style. A Mohawk or something like that." I was rather surprised. The hubby was opposed to a Mohawk so we went online to look for boy haircuts and he choose Zayn's cut from One Direction. Jajjajaja. And this was the result.

I couldn't believe how my little boy was finally becoming his own unique person. This seemed like the first step to him starting to get his own style and personality.  I guess I better get ready. He's not my baby boy anymore, he's my little man.

Sophia's First Haircut

No matter how many kids you have, their first of anything is always memorable. Time after time, kid after kid, anytime they have a first it feels like........well the first time. And there was no exception when it came to a first haircut. Well in Sophia's case, her first hair trim.

That face and smile melts my heart.

Ta Da! Just a trim to make it all look neat.
