Harry Potter Wands!

My daughter Natalie is a very interesting little girl. She has many interests and out of the blue she can pop up with something new that she's into. She also follows after me in that she likes making things. She's sorta crafty. She likes to make things out of boxes and play pretend with things. I enjoy watching her do all these things. But she also unfortunately took after me in that she also gets frustrated with herself very easily when what she's making doesn't quite work out. When this happens we both turn to DAVID (my hubby) who seriously is AWESOME AT EVERYTHING.  And it's not cause he's my hubby but seriously this man can draw, make or fix anything. He's just a natural at everything.
So the other day she went online and found this page: http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-an-awesome-Harry-Potter-wand-from-a-sheet-of-/

She decided she wanted to make one. Actually she wanted me to make it. Yeah, that wasn't going to happen. I'm not very good at following directions. Hahaha so ofcourse we decided to wait for daddy. And ofcourse when he made them they came out awesome!

All the directions are found by clicking on the link. My hubby made one for each one of us and then my daughter and I decorated them. Ofcourse he then made one for himself and then outdid himself when he decorated it.

Here is his final result. Note the awesome toy flame he added at the end.

Here's mine. Very bright and girly.

I would show you my daughter's but ofcourse we cant' find it already! KIDS!

Anyways I think that these would be great for a party with the theme of Harry Potter or anything whimsical. We are not Harry Potter fans but we did love these wands. Especially made by the hubby!
